उसमें आगे कहा गया: “रक्त-आधानों से अन्य कई रोगों के हस्तांतरित होने की सूचना मिली है, जिनमें परिसर्प (हर्पीज़) वाइरस संक्रमण, संक्रामक मोनोन्युक्लिओसिस (एपस्टाइन-बार वाइरस), टॉक्सोप्लाज़्मोसिस (मस्तिष्क और आँखों का संक्रामक रोग), ट्रिपनोसोमिअॅसिस [अफ्रीकी निद्रित रोग और शागास रोग], लीशमैनिअॅसिस (काला आज़ार), ब्रूसेल्लोसिस [तरंगित ज्वर], टाइफस (तंद्रिक ज्वर), फ़ाइलेरिया रोग, खसरा, साल्मोनेल्लोसिस तथा कोलोरॅडो चीचड़ी ज्वर।”

46. To prevent such spiritual sickness from developing within us, we need to cultivate the fruits of God’s spirit in our lives every day, training ourselves to “abhor what is wicked” and to “cling to what is good.” —Romans 12:9; Galatians 5:22, 23.

हम में ऐसी आध्यात्मिक बीमारी का विकसित होना रोकने के लिए, “बुराई से घृणा” करने तथा “भलाई में लगे” रहने के लिए खुद को प्रशिक्षित करते हुए, हमें हर दिन अपने जीवन में परमेश्वर की आत्मा के फलों को विकसित करना चाहिए।—रोमियों १२:९; गलतियों ५:२२, २३.
